To Live.

Hiya people! SOoooo the reason I started this blog was to have a place to share what I believe are Beautiful  Things. You can either fly through life and pass by beauty.. or you can take time to smell the roses and discover life as its meant to be. Life full of peace, joy, love, and more importantly God.

The Westminster catechism states "Man’s chief end is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever".   In Him is life, depth, happiness, grace, and beauty. When we discover God for ourselves, we begin to discover the depth and reason behind life, happinessetc. We can experience all of these things to the fullest and can find joy in everything we do.

So I hope my blog will give you a chance to step back and catch a breather. Possibly even INSPIRE you to do that more often and savor every single moment, memory, and blessing. Why not make the make the most of your life ya know? So taste it. Savor it. Devour it. And yes. I am in the mood for brownies smothered in dark chocolate. Know why? Because YOLO!!!!!

Fulfillment

We {the whole human race} have been born with an emptiness in our hearts. We are already born broken and  helpless. We come into this world in a desperate state and seek to be made whole.

We are born with an unquenchable thirst for beauty. Either to find it, or to obtain it. Beauty catches our eye and makes a lasting impression upon our souls.
"Only two things pierce the heart: beauty and affliction."

When we put two and two together, we find God. The remedy we need to fill our longing hearts and quench
our desire for beauty. He is the epitome of beauty, redeemer, fulfiller, friend. Who could ever ask for more!

Yet we become blind. Some people to the point where they never even get a glimpse of God and all He has to offer. Some people {most Christians}to the point where they live their lives searching for fulfillment, never realizing they already held the answer.

So I leave you with 2 great truths to remember:
{1.} I am restless till I rest in You- St. Augustine
{2.} Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full on His wonderful face, And the things of life will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace.
